LsL Instruments “CV Special”  Signature Guitar (preliminary specs–subject to change)

• We will select the lightest of all the Alder bodies we have.
• The necks will be hand-shaped to match Carl’s ’61. They will have rosewood fingerboards and have our lowered apex shape on the edges.
• Frets will be 6105′s.
• The pickups will be Carl’s design and have outputs that lie between our ’50s and ’60s sets.
• The only color so far is a royal blue metallic.
• The guitars will be lightly aged – just enough to produce our distinctive tone.
• The bridges (so far) will be vintage style Wilkinson’s with steel block and 2 1/8″ string spacing. The bridges have a push-in tremolo arm that has adjustable tension so that its freedom of movement can be regulated.
• The guitars will be fitted with low torque potentiometers.
• There will be a “treble bleed” circuit included on the volume to maintain clear treble when lowering the volume on the guitar.
• The “CV Special” will be strung with Dean Markley Carl Verheyen “Balanced Bridge” string sets. The gauges are .009, .012, .016, .026, .037, .046.
• The guitars will be set up and shipped with Carl’s instructions for his special “floating bridge” setup and his introduction to this guitar.
• The removable back plate will be autographed by Carl.
• A G&G hard-shell case will be included.
